Ellison Milling
Company
began as a small Lethbridge, Alberta Company in 1906.
The Company was owned and operated by its founders,
the Ellison family, until 1975. In 1975 Ellison's
became a member of a much larger family, "Parrish & Heimbecker Limited," one of the
few privately owned Canadian Grain companies.
The Parrish & Heimbecker family includes P&H Grain
Division, P&H Foods (Butterball Turkeys), New Life
Feeds, New Life Mills, and Cook's Grain,
with operations in 100 locations in eight Canadian
provinces.
Ellison Milling is now part of this Canadian owned Company. Its location in Lethbridge, the Irrigation Capital of Canada, is in the heart of the grain country of Southern Alberta. Hard Red Spring Wheat, Soft White Spring Wheat, Durum Wheat, Red Winter Wheat and Ryes are all grown in Southern Alberta, allowing us a selection of the best quality grains available.
